The local pub is known as the 'The Bell' - a traditional village Pub serving excellent food. Built in the 14th - 15th century and is located within walking distance of The Castle, Manor House & Gardens. It is normally open all year round offering a wide selection of meals at a reasonable price.
Local Walks
Benington Lordship is set in the Hertforshire countrysite and has a wide range of public footpaths all offering a scenic view. The most commonly used footpath in the village is located near the garden entrance. It runs through the country side, a farm and a large wood. The walk is roughly about 1/2 hour to 1 1/2 hours with some good picnic areas. All footpaths are clearly marked with signs.
